Skill and Qualifications
● Minimum of 4 years’ experience in application development in JAVA/J2EE technology
● At least 2 year experience in java portal development is mandatory; experience in Liferay v6.x+ is preferred
● Must be able to demonstrate understanding & usage of Typical J2EE design patterns with respect to object oriented / java systems architecture; preferred to have basic knowhow of distributed systems
● Must possess hand-on development experience in the following areas:
- Languages: Java, J2EE, JavaScript
- IDE: Eclipse
- Operating System: Linux / Ubuntu
- Database: MySQL, Neo4J (or any other Graph Database)
- Mandatory J2EE Fundamentals - JSP, Servlet, XML, JSON, JSTL
- Open source frameworks - Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Hadoop
- Build / Issue management technologies: Git, JIRA & Jenkins
- Good competency in using modelling and object-oriented analysis/design methodologies for requirement analysis, system design and quality requirement analysis
● Basic knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript skills, including knowledge of JQuery, YUI. Familiar with SASS, Bootstrap CSS
● Know both the concepts and the implementation of responsive design, JavaScript client MVC
● Ability to deliver production ready code.
● Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
● Good interpersonal and communication skills
