RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER

Job description:

- Work with team members to contribute and to review requirements and specifications

- Based on business requirements provide estimates for future tasks and projects

- Translate requirements and specifications into logical, clean, scalable technical solutions

- Fix bugs to existing services, software and applications

- Maintain effective source code revision control, back-up, roll out and development/ production environment infrastructure.

- Keep up to date with new developments and proactively suggest improvements regarding technology, standards, best practices.

Job Requirement

Years of experience: At least 2 years
Minimum career level: Experienced (Non-Manager)
Minimum education level: Bachelors
Minimum language: English - Level: Advanced (Required)
General request: B.S in Computer Science or Related Discipline
Having experience as an Engineer
Advanced level in English
Developing applications with the Ruby on Rails framework and language
Object oriented fundamentals (OOA, OOP, OOD)
TDD and BDD frameworks including Jasmine, RSpec, Cucumber or equivalent
Full application stack from the application core to the database layer
Javascript frameworks, particularly JQuery or Backbone
A passion for Open Source technologies is a plus
Hands on experience with Java or Perl or Python or Groovy is a plus
